Thank you for sharing your kiddos with me this year. I have been SO blessed to be their teacher, and I am so sad to see the arrival of the end of school year. God has BIG plans for each of these kids, and I hope to hear and see great things from them in the future.
Please know that your child is loved by me. I want you and your child to know that I am here if you need me. I don't know what help I can be, but if something comes up and you feel like I could be helpful, please contact me. I am glad to help if I'm able.
I pray your child continues to work hard as they move up to the next grade, wherever they may be going. This year was a challenging year with many ups and downs. I know this transition may be difficult for your child (and you!). It is difficult on the teachers, too. I will miss your children (collectively and individually). I have grown to love these kids more than I thought I ever could, and it hurts to see them go, especially with the situation that has happened with the school.
Silverton Christian School may not continue as a school moving forward, but please know that the teachers love your kids and want to see them be successful in whatever school they end up attending.
I want to say all the right words to make it okay, to make the transition easier, to tell how much I loved teaching these kiddos, to encourage parents and students, etc. I don't have them. Please know the sentiment is there.
I pray God's blessings on each family and each student. May He provide a place for you and your children in other school communities that fits your child's needs academically, socially, and emotionally. May He make Himself known to you and your child through His grace and love, even when other humans fail to show grace and love. May He guide your steps and fill you with joy in challenging circumstances.
God Bless,
Miss Wilson
